In electricity industry, fire disaster often occurs when cables and devices are overheated, leading to widespread cable burning loss and device damage, forcing to outage state, and causing serious economic losses. The direct cause of the equipment overheating and fire is that the middle connector of the cable is not made properly, the pressure connector is not tight, the contact resistance is too large, and the cable head is overheated and burnt through insulation caused by long-term operation. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct wireless temperature monitoring of cable joint points.
LoRaWAN-BGTL10 cable temperature measuring device is independently developed by our company based on LoRaWAN communication. It has the functions of temperature detection, data reporting and remote monitoring. It adopts LoRa modulation technology, following LoRaWAN wireless transmission protocol, and working with LoRaWAN gateway to realize remote monitoring and intelligent management.

Product Structure:
Cable temperature measuring device is used to measure the surface or the contact point temperature of the device with under power and high-voltage, such as the operating temperature of the exposed contact point in the high-voltage switch cabinet and the connection of the busbar. The cable temperature measuring device is composed of temperature sensor, sampling filter, data processing, logic control circuit and wireless data transmission. It will transmit temperature data through LoRaWAN wireless to gateway.
Unstallation And Use:
1) Please insure that the device is installed without electricity or hazards.
2) The surface of the cable temperature measuring device is directly opposite to the measured object.
3) Open the cable temperature measuring device and bind it on the part to be measured.
4) Add data to the server so that the cable temperature measuring device can communicate normally with server.
5) Mounting position:
① Moveable high-voltage switch cabinet: busbar and cable bond parts.
② Fixed high-voltage switch cabinet: busbar and cable bond parts.
③ Other suitable environment where cable temperature measuring device is needed.
Attention:
1. When the cable temperature measuring device is in contact with the high-voltage measured object, the device (including the antenna) should avoid disconnecting from other objects except the measured object, and carry out effective isolation to avoid the occurrence of danger.
2. With switch hole and built-in lithium battery, the cable temperature measuring device doesn't have waterproof function. In order to prevent danger and damage, the device should not be used in the place with water.
3. Transportation and storage
① Products should be transported and unpacked The transportation and unpacking of products should be free from the severe impact . Both transportation and storage shall follow relevant regulations.
② Storage should be kept in the original packing and placed on the bracket with the height no more than eight layers.
③ Preserve the device in a clean place with the temperature around 0℃~40℃, average relative humidity below 85%, and no corrosive gas in the air.
